From my perspective, the 3 most important tools currently in my tech stack consist of the following:
Data warehouse: This enables you to house all of your customers’ data in a structured and accessible way (e.g., Snowflake).
Data visualization or BI tooling: This enables you to tell the story of your data in a visual way (e.g., Observable - full disclosure I work here).
In-product messaging and email platform: This enables you to message customers and meet them where they are in their journey from activation through to retention (e.g., Braze).
I think this lean tech stack can get you very far and is well worth the investment.
